Based initially on a small number of pre-existing business relationships, Christians in Business was officially founded in 2009.

The Vision of Christians in Business is to:

Resource and network Christian Business Leaders and Professional Advisors and provide a forum for growth and influence within the local business community.

Christians in Business Membership Terms:

Christians in Business seeks to support members through active fellowship and prayer, membership is open to anyone who is:

  • A business owner, partner, corporate executive or senior manager of their company firm or organization
  • A Professional Advisor to local businesses
  • Involved in strategic decision making within their company firm or organization

Andy Cribb : Partner

After qualifying as a chartered accountant, Andy arrived in Doncaster in 1987 to take a “gap year.” working for All Saints Church in Woodlands and Highfields. The intention was to be here for just 12 months, but over 2 decades later he is still here (!), working in the business community. Outside Andy’s work commitments and family time, he is involved as Trustee of various charities that work with the vulnerable – this reflects Andy’s belief that God has a passion for us to be His co-workers to build a just and fair society- both locally and globally.

Neil Ebden : Corporate Banking Manager

Having moved to Doncaster in 1989 to complete his studies, Neil entered the world of Banking – a fulfilment of his youthful ambition! Over the past two decades, Neil has worked in and around his home town of Doncaster. 2007 saw a career change from the High Street Banking world of HSBC, to that of Swedish office based bank ‘Handelsbanken’, where in September he join a newly formed branch in Doncaster. Neil has remained active in his Christian faith through his involvement and worship at The Salvation Army. He has a passion to for humanity and a strong desire to be a Christian influence on the society in which God has called him to work.

Ian and his family moved to Doncaster in 1988. He combines his entrepreneurial business experience with church leadership and family life, his key focus is understanding people and how they behave in groups. Ian first started working with Internet and Multimedia Learning Technologies in 1995 and has successfully founded a number of Virtual Networks and Virtual Organisations. He currently manages a number of Internet based projects that range from business development to community and social networking. He has a vision is to see people develop a meaningful and authentic faith in every sphere of their lives.
